I saw the ironman triathalon once were the leader was a mile from the finish, became completely dis-oriented and ended up barely completing the race as he sat down looking dazed and totally "Alzheimered". not only is it physical, its tremendously mental (of course, thats not based on my experience - I'm too physically unfit to know). But kudos to you! congratulations on completing a marathon!
